The end of summer is always the climax of the EDGE Calendar for youth in the Archdiocese of Toronto!
Over 2 weeks (3 camp sessions) over 800 campers and leaders from 30 parishes took part in
EDGE Camp 2019, which was the first time St. John of the Cross EDGErs participated!
This annual overnight Catholic adventure camp is exclusively for students involved in EDGE youth ministry (Grades 5-8) at their parish. EDGE Camp began in 2009.
There are 200 spots for Edge Camp West which is comprised of the churches below!
Registrations will be taken online by a first come first serve basis so do not delay!
What Is Included?
EDGE Camp is all-inclusive. Included in registration is transportation
to and from camp, supervision, programming, camp gear including a
t-shirt and water bottle, all meals, activities including swimming,
high ropes, zip line, archery, canoeing/ kayaking and much more!
Who is Going?
There are 3 EDGE Camps (West, Central, East)
JCYM EDGErs will be at Camp with the following Western Region parishes with 200 youth:
Guardian Angels, Brampton
Holy Family, Bolton
Merciful Redeemer, Mississauga
Nativity of Our Lord, Etobicoke
St. Dominic's, Mississauga
St. Edward, Toronto
St. Francis Xavier, Mississauga
St. John of the Cross, Mississauga
St. Monica, Toronto
St. Patrick's, Brampton
St. Patrick's, Mississauga
Transfiguration of Our Lord, Etobicoke
Note: Youth Minister Ante, along with 3-4 Core Team Members will be chaperones during this trip.
What is the Cost?
Early Bird: $425.00 before April 15, 2020
Regular Rate: $475.00 from April 15, 2020
Registration Closing: May 15, 2020
A $100 cheque deposit due within 7 days of online registration to confirm the spot
Cheques/Drafts are to be made out to: St. John of the Cross Parish
with Memo: Edge Camp. No cash will be accepted.
Taken spots will be noted in a sequence of the cheque deposit delivered to the parish office,
with everyone notified by YM Ante that they are locked in.
